Alberto grew up in the small town of Solferino, close to Lake Garda.
He has warm childhood memories of family and friends gathering once-a-week, to socialise, and enjoy Mama’s homemade pizzas.
The tastes and aromas of authentic Northern Italian cuisine became Alberto’s vocation. He found a love for combining traditional cooking methods with new techniques and ingredients. He refined his craft with professional Pizzaiolo training in Northern Italy.
Alberto made Leek his home in 2019, but his passion for traditional Italian food remains true to his roots. He works tirelessly for his customers, sourcing the best authentic Italian ingredients to evoke the flavours and dining experiences of Northern Italy.
